Job Description
The Waard Metals Production Technician is a full-time, hourly position working in our metal manufacturing facility using production equipment to produce metal parts to fulfill customer orders.

- The production workday will vary depending on the business, metal production schedule, and forecast.
- Example 8-hour workday: 7:00am start, break at 9:00am, lunch 11:00-11:30am, break at 1:30pm, end work at 3:30pm.
- Operate metal production equipment: primarily a metal shear and CNC benders.
- Quality checks to ensure parts are being made to customer specifications.
- Order fulfillment – pulling inventory of accessories and putting them with metal to fulfill a complete order.
- Perform and help determine preventative maintenance on machines per maintenance schedule.
- Work on shop improvement and organization while completing projects.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school GED
- Ability to run metal manufacturing equipment (training will be provided)
- Experience with a metal shear, benders, and/or laser cutter is a plus (training will be provided)
- Follows instructions
- Comfortable using small power hand tools
- Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, square, calipers, etc.)
- Adaptable with learning to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Comfortable to drive a fork truck (training and certification will be provided)
- Dependable and on-time
- Reliable transportation
- Uses good judgment and works with integrity

- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
- Hourly wage: $18-28/hr
